살금살금 (salgeum-salgeum)

*sneak sneak* / tiptoe

What it means

Moving very quietly so no one notices. Used for sneaking, surprises, and mischief.

Where you'll see it in manhwa

• Sneaking out of the house
• Creeping up to surprise someone
• Tiptoeing past a sleeping person

How to say it

Romanized as salgeum-salgeum. It's a motion effect (not sounds at all — these show how something moves) and its rarity is uncommon.

Similar sound effects

• 스윽 seueuk — *swish* — a smooth, quiet move
• 터벅터벅 teobeok-teobeok — *trudge trudge*
